Relate CCEuropean Couns Dip
Supervision Certificate
BACP Accredited
I am a qualified and experienced couple’s counsellor and person centred therapist, and an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I specialise in relationship counselling and have been in practice for over ten years. I have successfully worked for many well known organisations providing counselling services for employees.
Like most counsellors this is my second career. Originally I was in the Royal Navy, but my seafaring days were ended by an accident in which I lost my left hand. After trying a number of occupations I started training as a counsellor twelve years ago. Since then, I have found counselling a very rewarding occupation, in which my own life experiences play a valuable part in helping me to empathise with the problems and difficulties of my clients.
